The beach houses are only placed in this unique location for a few months each year. The beach has no sewerage, so the sanitary facilities are temporary and work differently than usual.
Please observe the following:
- Throw toilet paper in the wastebasket next to the toilet.
- Try to use as little water as possible when using the toilet.
- Tampons, menstrual pads, wet wipes and diapers should also be thrown in the trash.
- Only use the toilet paper and cleaning supplies that are in the beach house.
Hot water
At beach houses 67 and 68, it takes five minutes to get hot water because it is heated using a dynamo. Turn on the faucet and wait for the water to heat up. Beach houses 60 and 182 have a boiler, so you do not have to wait for hot water there.
Slow
The water drains slowly. You will notice this in the shower, sink and toilet.
Clogging
We charge a fee if the drain becomes clogged due to improper use of toilet paper or cleaning products.
We understand that toilet paper may occasionally end up in the toilet out of habit. The special toilet paper in the beach house can go down the drain in very limited quantities. Ordinary toilet paper cannot go down the drain. As such, we ask that you use the toilet paper provided and take care to dispose of used paper in the waste basket.
The cleaning agents in the beach house are suitable for natural drainage. The use of other cleaning agents may cause damage and clogging.
